🛠️ Product Description

Turbo Core Assy. (also called CHRA – Center Housing Rotating Assembly) is the main internal unit of the turbocharger used in Volvo EC480 excavators. It contains the rotating components that generate boost pressure for the engine.

It is installed inside the turbocharger and works between the turbine (exhaust side) and compressor (air intake side).

⚙️ Function / Working

• Uses exhaust gas energy to rotate the turbine wheel
• The turbine shaft spins the compressor wheel
• Compressor forces high-pressure air into the engine
• Improves:
  • Engine power
  • Fuel efficiency
  • Combustion performance

👉 Without turbo core, the engine cannot generate boost pressure.
